Each unit consists of two interconnected rhombic chambers for cell cultivation as well as a sensor port up- and downstream of the cultivation chambers. By measuring crucial parameters, one can draw conclusions on the cell viability or metabolic activity of the chosen (adherent) cell line.
The fiber sensor chip family is only recommended for low-pressure applications, in order to avoid leakage at the sensor ports. If you don’t need all of the sensor ports, we recommend to close them with our Mini Luer plugs or Mini Luer caps in TPE.
