The filtration chip Fluidic 398 is based on the cross-flow membrane principle, i.e. two in- and outlet ports are located above and below a permeable membrane. It enables the filtration, capture and concentration of particles, such as cell populations.
Fluidic 398 features four filtration units possessing both Luer and Mini Luer interfaces at the in- and outlets.
The off-the-shelf chip features a membrane with a pore size of 0.4 μm. However, upon request the platform can be equipped with customer-specific membranes.
