The droplet generator with monitoring channel Fluidic 1789 features eight individual units for droplet generation. Each unit features a long channel for direct monitoring directly after the nozzle generating the droplets.

The chip features four different nozzle sizes, each represented in two units:

  • unit 1 and 2: 60 µm nozzle
  • unit 3 and 4: 80 µm nozzle
  • unit 5 and 6: 100 µm nozzle
  • unit 7 and 8: 120 µm nozzle
