Description

The droplet generator chip Fluidic 1147 features four droplet generation units with a simple flow focusing nozzle of 70 µm and 80 µm. The generated droplets can be captured, monitored and manipulated in the observation chambers that lie downstream of the nozzles. The monitoring chamber come at a height of 80 µm and 100 µm. As oppose to most other droplet generators in our portfolio, this chip was produced from a Topas material with a high glass transition temperature and can therefore be used in applications that required high temperatures, such as PCR.
