Description

The adhesive cross-flow membrane chip Fluidic 653 possesses two independent chambers that interact through a permeable membrane. Each chamber features one main inlet and outlet, along with two additional (optional) inlets and outlets for additional reagent supply. The open cross-flow chip is equipped with a transparent membrane featuring a pore size of 8 µm.

Fluidic 653 can be utilized, for instance, in cell culture experiments, where cells, such as epithelial cells, are co-cultured. The chip is also ideal for applications like filtering, size exclusion, or migration studies.

The cross-flow membrane chip Fluidic 653 is offered as open system for self-assembly. The chips come without a mounted cover lid on the upper chamber, to enable access to the membrane from the top. For sealing, the chips are equipped with a medical grade double-sided adhesive gasket (140 µm thick). Removing the protective liner (white) of the adhesive will enable to close the chips with a cover lid of choice.

Please note: You can order the chip with or without a pre-cut cover lid (closing substrate). The closing substrates features the same properties as the bottom chip lid.

Adhesive Cross-Flow Membrane Chip Organ-on-Chip and more Fluidic 653

The adhesive cross-flow membrane chip Fluidic 653 is a versatile microfluidic tool for organ-on-chip but also filtering experiments. This chip is offered as open system for self-assembly for easy membrane access and reagent integration before sealing. We offer a choice of purchasing the open chip with foil for sealing or without.
